Install guide

First launch notes for each platform.

X-Dispatch is a free desktop utility for X-Plane 12.4+. Most installs are direct, with a few platform-specific security prompts.

Install notes

Before first launch

macOS unsigned app note

X-Dispatch is currently distributed without Apple notarization. If macOS blocks first launch, open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, and allow the app you just downloaded.

Windows administrator note

If X-Plane does not launch from X-Dispatch, run X-Dispatch as administrator so it can hand off the launch command correctly.

Linux AppImage note

Mark the AppImage as executable before launching it. From a terminal, run chmod +x on the downloaded file, then open it normally.

Windows

Run the installer, then launch X-Dispatch from the Start menu. Use administrator mode only if X-Plane launch handoff fails.

macOS

Open the DMG, move X-Dispatch to Applications, then approve the app in Privacy & Security if Gatekeeper blocks first launch.

Linux

Make the AppImage executable, then run it from your desktop environment or terminal.
